Two-time defending MIL champions Lahainaluna officially started off the MIL regular season with a decisive 60-45 win over the Warriors of Kamehameha Schools Maui. The Lunas led comfortably throughout. Spencer Perieff had a great all-around game, taking it aggressively to the hoop and scoring on some outside shots as well. Gavin Kahaialii set the tone on defense with at least 10 blocked shots.
