HALFTIME SCORE

After a sloppy game against Maui High in their MIL opener, the junior Lady Lunas were hitting on all cylinders in their game at King Kekaulike. The Lunas raced out to a 20-0 lead after one quarter and by halftime, were leading 46-5. Running time helped to keep the score down in the second half, with the Lunas winning, 74-11.

Everyone scored in this game, with 4 of the 7 players in double figures, led by Lindsay Bates with 18, Taylor Bates with 15, Aloha Salem with 12, and Mina Faaumu with 10. After Falau Hafoka was slowed by an ankle in the first quarter, reserve Kyla Blando-Kahaialii chipped in with a career high 8 points. Hafoka managed 5 points in limited playing time, while Misha Whitehead scored 6.
