The Lunas’ came in the Sabers gym and ruined the home
team’s senior night with a come-from-behind win. The Lunas had won the first
set rather handily 25-17, then loss a tough one 24-26 and another one 21-25 to
be down 1-2. The Lunas came back from deficits in the 4th and 5th
games, taking them in the end 25-22 and 15-13. Awesome performance by the boys in
never giving up. Props to the Maui High boys. And Major Props to Tytus’ mom,
who provided some entertainment with an impromptu hula session during one of
the breaks in the pivotal fourth game.
