MIL WRESTLING TOURNAMENT: MEDALISTS – February 25, 2012

This was my first time shooting final/championship matches. In the past, I would come in and shoot for an hour or two, make sure I got photos of my friends’ kids, then leave. Again, this was the first time I stayed to the end. It was fun. These matches were literally it – gold medal matches – to determine whether you go to States. Bragging rights.

Overall, Lahainaluna did well as expected. Both the boys and girls took home the MIL team titles. It was a blast staying back to shoot the medal ceremonies and to take group shots of the Lunas’ players with their medals. Congratulations to Lahainaluna and all the wrestlers who participated.
