MIL TRACK & FIELD – March 17, 2012

Some action from the Yamamoto Invitational track meet. Tonight, I went to the 4:00 baseball game first, then spend the rest of the night at the track meet trying to capture as many different events as possible. My friend from the Maui Medical Group, James Sparke, was one of the head officials for the MIL Track and he was able to get an okay for me to get onto the infield to shoot. I probably should've taken him up on the opportunity, but I'll wait till next time.

THE LATE SATOKI YAMAMOTO, a former biology teacher at Lahainaluna and pioneer
in promoting track and cross country during the mid-1950s, is the namesake for this event.
The Track at War Memorial is also named after him. Imua Lunas.
