With the JV season for boys and girls winding down, I went to watch the JV squads play at Maui High. The varsity girls played at 7pm - which conflicted with the boys varsity game in Lahaina at their Tournament against Sullivan Heights. I made the executive decision to miss the varsity girls game in favor of the boys. It is hard to make these decisions and I wish I could be two places at once.
The JV girls have only 5 on their roster. Still, they had little difficulty posting a 59-26 win over Maui High. Because of the early start time (4:00), it was nice to get shots with natural sunlight coming through the gym. Not as horrendous as Lahainaluna's gym.
