First home game of the year. Had to rush over to Lahaina after work. I
missed the JV game (they lost) but was able to shoot the entire varsity match.
First thing I noticed was the larger than usual crowd coming out to support the
team. Many of the Lahainaluna girls basketball team and Lahaina girls team
members were there to cheer for their classmates.
Lunas lost 0-3 but they made it interesting. They had the lead for most
of the 1st set but lost. In the second set, there were down by
double digits before rallying at the end to make the score respectable.
Score: 19-25, 19-25, 17-25.
