The Lunas capped the first round with their 4th shutout in 4 games, a 41-0 win over the much improved Maui High Sabers. The Lunas shot out to a huge lead in the first half, thanks to a dominating defense that turned the ball over and some big plays on offense, including a sweet bomb from Kiko Kohler-Fonohema to a streaking Mark Alamon, as well as tackle-breaking runs by Tytus Lucas and Misi Filkitonga. The rains came down in the second half in which the reserves saw extended playing time.
