FOOTBALL SCHEDULE CHANGE! HOMECOMING GAME VS. BEARS MOVED TO WAR MEMORIAL - October 15, 2014

UPDATE!!! (October 15, 2014)  DUE TO THE APPROACH OF TROPICAL STORM  (POTENTIAL HURRICANE) ANA WHICH IS SCHEDULED TO HIT MAUI SOMETIME ON SATURDAY AFTERNOON, THE HOMECOMING GAME AGAINST BALDWIN HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED TO FRIDAY, OCTOBER 17, 2014 AT WAR MEMORIAL STADIUM!!!

JV starts at 4:30 p.m. and the Varsity contest is slated for 7:00 p.m. Hopefully the weather is not that bad.





















 





ATTENTION! Lahainaluna's Homecoming Game against Baldwin High School on Saturday,
October 18, 2014 Friday, October 17, 2014 will be played at War Memorial Stadium instead of at Lahainaluna's home stadium. Due to circumstances beyond their control, the Stadium will not be ready to host the game on October 17th 18th.

Yes, this is old news to some but I wanted to make sure word got out since my posted football schedule on this site remained unchanged. I certainly did not want to be blamed if people showed up at the Lahainaluna campus only to realize the game is on the other side!

Hopefully, the impending storm that will be known as Hurricane Ana continues to grow and move towards the Hawaiian Island chain with an estimated arrival date on Maui of - yes, you guessed it - Saturday, October 18th.

I'm not a religious man, but I am definitely praying that this hurricane weakens and changes direction soon. Of course, the priority is to minimize loss of life and property damage, but in my case, I DO NOT want to shoot the homecoming game in a torrential downpour. My equipment ain't exactly weather-sealed!
