The Lahainaluna Lady Lunas girls volleyball team competed against teams from Seabury Hall, Maui Prep and Baldwin High School in a preseason tournament at Seabury Hall. The Lunas lost a bunch of seniors to graduation and return with a very young team. Led by Seniors Lithe Pokipala-Waiohu, Kawena Murray, Kimberly Yap and Hanna Pasco-Dusenberry, the Lunas roster comprise of junior milddle blocker Faavae Galoia, Betty Tupuo-Koloi, Angel Cuaresma, Lina Marie Dagupion, Patricia Nebrida, and Mharicar Tan and sophomores Janie Hoopai and August Guest. Wins may be tough to come by this year, but the effort and heart will be there.
