I got to the game late after deciding to stop by War Memorial to shoot
the Lanai-St. Anthony 8-Man football game at War Memorial Stadium. By the time I got up to
King Kekaulike, the Lunas had already lost Set 1 and were trailing in set 2. Na
Alii was on fire. Their setter does an outstanding job of finding mismatches
and getting the sets to any of the 3
spots on the front line. Our block was consistently late getting to the point
of attach which led to easy kills for Na Ali’i. Lunas lose: 20-25, 14-25, 13-25.
This was the last road game for the Lunas. Three more at home then time
for tournament.
